Discover what makes Mt Maria College special

Mt Maria College Petrie is inviting prospective families to experience what makes the school special during its upcoming BCE Open Week, Tuesday 28th April, 2026.

BCE Open Week offers families the chance to step inside the school, meet staff and students, and learn more about the values, learning approach and community that set Mt Maria College Petrie apart. Visitors will be able to explore classrooms, take part in guided tours and gain insight into how the school supports students to thrive both academically and personally.

Mt Maria College Petrie Principal Kerry Maher said BCE Open Week is a great opportunity for families to see the school in action.

“Choosing the right school is an important decision,” She said. “BCE Open Week gives families a real feel for our learning environment, our culture and the strong sense of community we are proud of at Mt Maria College Petrie.”

Mt Maria College Petrie is known for our personalised learning, strong wellbeing focus, pathways opportunities, co‑curricular opportunities, inclusive culture, and community connections. These qualities help students develop confidence, direction and a love of learning from Year 7 through to graduation.

Through our BCE Open Week event, families can take part in information sessions, classroom visits, student led tours, and meet the principal. Staff will be available to answer questions and talk through learning pathways, support services and enrolment options.

"Thank you for supporting their passion." Robyn Guy (Parent of current MMCP student)
